It has been years since the man once known as Tarzan (Skarsgård) left the wildernesses of Africa behind for a gentrified life as John Clayton III, Lord Greystoke, with his dearest spouse, Jane (Robbie) next to him. Presently, he has been welcomed back to the Congo to serve as an exchange emissary of Parliament, uninformed that he is a pawn in a dangerous merging of voracity and vengeance, planned by the Belgian, Captain Leon Rom (Waltz). However, those behind the deadly plot have no clue what they are going to unleash.

Warner Bros.' new trailer for "The Legend of Tarzan" lays out the beginnings of the notable character, beginning with the passing of his dad and looks of the wild youngster being brought by primates up in the wilderness.The story then moves to Alexander Skarsgård's Tarzan driving a gentrified life and being compelled to come back to the Congo, with his better half (Margot Robbie) next to him, to serve as an exchange emissary for England's parliament — both uninformed that he's the pawn of a plan to misuse the Congo.
"You are Tarzan," he's told in a voiceover. "You dislike who you are. You may have adversaries, however you have to go home."

The Teaser incorporates a lot of scenes of a strong Skarsgard swinging on wilderness vines with gorillas, Robbie's Jane being held hostage and a staggering scene of a group of bison charging through a provincial castle.Christoph Waltz plays Captain Leon Rom, a Belgian warlord; Djimon Hounsou is the nearby African boss who contradicts Captain Rom; and Samuel L. Jackson is a U.S. Common War vet who helps Tarzan.
"The Legend of Tarzan" opens July 1. David Yates, who helmed the last four "Harry Potter" movies, coordinates from a script by Adam Cozad and Craig Brewer.

David Yates (the final four “Harry Potter” films, upcoming “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”) directed “The Legend of Tarzan” from a screenplay by Adam Cozad and Craig Brewer, story by Brewer and Cozad based on the Tarzan stories created by Burroughs. Legendary producer Jerry Weintraub (“Behind the Candelabra,” the “Ocean’s” trilogy) produced the film, together with David Barron (the “Harry Potter” films, “Cinderella”), Alan Riche (“Southpaw”) and Tony Ludwig (“Starsky & Hutch”). Susan Ekins, Nikolas Korda, Keith Goldberg, David Yates, Mike Richardson and Bruce Berman served as executive producers.
The behind-the-scenes creative team included director of photography Henry Braham (“The Golden Compass”), Oscar-winning production designer Stuart Craig (“Dangerous Liaisons,” “The English Patient,” the “Harry Potter” films), editor Mark Day (“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Parts 1 & 2”), and Oscar-nominated costume designer Ruth Myers (“Emma,” “Unknown”).
“The Legend of Tarzan” was shot at Warner Bros. Studios, Leavesden, as well as on location around the UK.
A Jerry Weintraub production, “The Legend of Tarzan” is slated for release on July 1, 2016. The film will be distributed in 2D and 3D in select theatres and IMAX by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company, and in select territories by Village Roadshow Pictures.
